Programs Offered and Eligibility Criteria
NIIT University offers multiple programs, including B.Tech with specializations in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Cyber Security, and Biotechnology.
Basic Eligibility for B.Tech
- Class 12: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Mandatory Subjects:
- For most specializations: Physics, Mathematics, and English.
- For Biotechnology specialization: Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- Class 10: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks with subjects including English, Math, Science, and Social Science.
Candidates from IB and Cambridge boards need Grade 4 or higher (IB) or Grade C or higher (Cambridge).
Entrance Exam Requirements
To qualify, applicants need a valid score or rank from any of the following exams:
- JEE Mains, BITSAT, SAT, CUET, NEET, or any state-level engineering entrance test.
- For applicants without these scores, NIIT University’s Admission Test (NUAT) is mandatory.
Admission Process for NIIT University 2025
- Complete the Application: Fill out the application form available on the university’s official admissions website.
- Pay the Application Fee: Submit a fee of ₹1500 to confirm your registration.
- Take the NUAT: Applicants without other entrance exam scores must take the NUAT.
- Attend a Personal Interview: Qualifying applicants or those with a valid entrance exam score will be invited to a Student Personal Interaction (SPI) with NIIT University’s faculty.
- Merit List and Enrollment: Final selection is based on merit, after which selected students must pay the admission fee to secure their enrollment.
